On Our Best Behaviour

As we all mature certain things become expected of us. We desire to do things less foolish than when we were younger so it's easy to say that we use our better judgement when we have decisions to make. Sometimes though we still make bad choices, the consequences for better or worse just seem to have more fallout.

This episode was a semi-formal evening with exclusive invites and the only booze expected to be flowing was in the form of Martinis, at a moderate rate. I had assumed everyone was suppose to be on their best behaviour.

I started this post almost 3 weeks ago and it's now a few days away from the new year. For the most part I do remember what happened but after the last few weeks I don't much care to finish writing it. I'll sum it up, but it'll be brief and vague.

we drank,
we had guests,
I made drinks,
people got drunk,
good times were had,
good times were had in bedrooms,
good times were had in bathrooms,


That's pretty much it.

It's amazing how the actions of drunk people can affect others.
