A friend and i have been discussing a blog chronicling the ongoing adventures we have in e-town on a regular basis. Drunken stupidity will ensue.

Previously on adventures in e-town

Well with the first season of adventures in e-town over I'd like to think it was unsettling at best. I know we started in April but all pilot seasons are shorter than a regular one. Before we kick off season two of AeT lets recap season one the best we can. I'm gonna tell you right now that people may get left out and some things might get repeated that people don't want repeated, but hey, I'm writing this. (Skip down to the big paragraph for pointlessness)

As the readers first encoutered our main duo and the ever growing fellowship of drinkers accompanying them, they were unsure of what to expect from a multicultural group of guys that had grown up in the capital city of Alberta.

With the introduction of Bryan things were underway as the readers had a hero that was a crazy fun loving asian who would become known to do unthinkable acts in moments of drunkeness.

The other half of the duo they met was the anti-hero Pat, though crazy like Bryan he would become to be known as the less fun loving but more sullen and brooding of the two.

In the pilot episode we were also introduced to a few other recurring cast members when Jessie and Keith were brought in to widen the readers interests. Bit players were also introduced that included the "Zellars" and "Old Navy" crews. Before we were a quarter of the way into the season the cast would grow exponentially to include Ross, Ryan, Pannich, Marco, Shaun, Korie, Adriano, Burg, and many more that would become household names.

In the first few episodes of the season we read on as the cast under went changes as Bryan graduated from university, Pat began a relationship with a 18yr old vixen, and Marco turned 20.

The following episodes were full of events as a duel birthday at the druid was split 50/50, Bryan opened up to the readers with some deep thoughts, Whyte ave became home to the insanity of the Oilers run to game 7 of the cup finals, Francine moved up from bit player to cast as she saved Pat one night and they became exclusive, and the crew would hit up Lakeview Pub.

At the mid-point in our season we found our readers begining to take interest in their favourite characters. Sometimes things would get out of hand as we found out when a stalker found Jessie on a pub-crawl one night and kept him lip locked the entire evening. Readers began to comment on the cracks in the relationship between Pat and Francine. We also began to see new cast members emerge as Chris, Chimko, and Lindsey began to stand out.

With the focal point of the season being the two weekend house parties at Bryans and Jessies the cast began to see the light at the end of the season. Both parties went off without a hitch with the latter being often reffered to as the best house party ever. Bryan began to make moves with a cousin of a newly emerging cast member, and the toll had been taken as Pat was put on break status with Francine. With one relationship on the outs another was just begining as one cast member Ross was sharing alot of page time with an as to that date extra. Once again new cast members began appearing as Matt, Laura, Stefan, and a new Ashley appeared.

With the climax of the season past the changes in the characters had become evident. The once emotionless Pat began to dissolve as Francine had found a way to crack his once impenetrable heart. Bryan would become the front runner to all things fun and booze filled as he had to pick up the slack left by those who had loose ends to tie up. With the changes occuring through out the fellowship everyone began to slow and the readers began to lose interest. To try and spark a new interest Marco and Matt were put into the spotlight and joining them would be the S Club 17s, a newly introduced group of soon to be 18 year olds.

At the end of the season finale we found our duo on two opposite ends of the spectrum. Bryan at an undecisive end as he contemplates the two female companions in his life and the value of the job that has him working the weekend. Though Bryan is still currently researching material, he is unsure of the possibilities of season 2. When we last left Pat he was guilt stricken after trying to come to terms with how he could have lost someone he held so dear. After briefly appearing in his most personal episode of the season he went MIA after a bit part at Matts Pajama party.

With season end our cast has gone through their ups and downs. Extras from the start of season 1 have become more prominent and a few stars have taken a backseat. Another change is two new writers Jessie and Linz, one of them was recently featured at the end of the season. The possibilities for a second season are endless as the hero has his hands full and the anti-hero is left with nothing. With old cast members leaving it looks like we might have a few new ones joining the ensemble. The cast members are begining to come into full swing but with the contributors in question this may be the only season.

With a final thought, a single solitary voice from Jessie stood out as his normally reserved nature was put aside as he challenged the cast to continue, but only if it was done bigger and with new locations.

Ever wonder what these people look like?

Well I've had my fun so on to the actual pointlessness. (I actual wrote this drivel first and everything above this was written after) In an effort to revive something dead and long since decaying I'm gonna start posting on this blog again. Something I had stated I wasn't going to do for some time after the debacle that had befallen me. As I review the whopping 2 posts that have been written since the last time I signed off I have no answers as to why nothing new has been written except for the general laziness of the population. That's right, I'm gonna blame all of you people out there. Well not all of you....just those of you who pay for gym memberships and never use them. To say nothing has happened since the last post, which isn't even dated right, would be a lie. I know of a night where a group of irrigators borderline hijacked a yellow school bus in a drunken attempted to get around the city, only to end up in a parking lot in the middle of St. Albert. I'm gonna let that stay with the participants. There was the pajama party that "linz" used for her inaugural post. I could go in depth about that night like I do with all my other posts but it just would seem pointless. I could always put up another post about feelings and shit but then I would have to watch everyone run again as if sulphur was raining down like it did on Sodom and Gomorrah. Oh by the way thanks for that....that really helped me out alot. No I'm not gonna be posting about anything that has happened in the last 6 or so weeks since I gave up drinking. With hazy memories of drunken phone calls at 12:52 in the a.m. and painful mornings throwing up blood, giving up the bottle seemed the most logical. I did this basically to avoid anything that would end up being just short of a heart wrenching scene from any romantic drama. As you can pretty much tell by now this post has nothing to do with anything but for some reason you've read this far. I'm just writing this cause I figure I'm gonna be puttin' up a bunch of posts in the next few weeks and I may aswell hit the ink to so everyone can get familiar with me again. Oh wait, no one has really fogotten cause if you scroll down a few posts there's the remains of the post that I caught alot of flak for. Once again I'll have to blame that on laziness. So even though I could probably keep writing about pointless crap until I've listened to every song on my iTunes I'm going keep this one from getting to long (yeah this one is damn hell ass long), cause the next few are gonna be doozies.

For those of you reading this I'll say that we've got a hard 3 weekends coming up. I'm hyping the shit out of them cause I'm looking to cure all my woes and I don't want to end up not drinking.
Oh, someone should probably take my cell away from me once I start with the sauce.
