Saturday Night Tequila Special
This night out was one that was poorly planned earlier in the week. Most people would be surprised to hear that someone in our group actually tried to plan something outside of a birthday and keeping with the norm we didn't. This Saturday night outing was actually planned by Francines friend Shanna who wasn't even one of the participants of the evening. Now I'll say it was poorly planned cause by mid-week whatever they had planned had fallen through and it was another last minute scramble as we commandeered the evening. Our plan was simple and to the point, pre-drink at Jessie's and booze it up at the Druid.

There are many things that drive people drink and there are things that drive people to drink in excess, for myself this night it would be reasons having to do with realtionships and I would drink in excess. I don't quite remember what got the ball rolling so I'll just start from what I do remember.
Location: On the Road
Time: 6:30 maybe?
So I get picked up by Bryan and we head to the liquor store. The car already had Speilbergo and Rodney in it, Burger to drink and Rodney to drive the car home from Jessie's, so we discussed what our poison would be and we tried to solidify the locations for the night. Knowing I was in for a night of drinking till I couldn't feel feelings anymore I was already set upon tequila and beer. Now for some reason the Sobey's liquor stores don't carry MGD in bottles but that didn't really matter as a case of 15 cans would be suffcient. Someone we didn't expect to be seeing that night was Matt an old acquaintance and soccer team mate from years past. The guy seemed taller than I remember and it looked like he'd been in the sun alot. After some brief convo to catch up he grabbed a pack of Cold Shots and informed us that six of those gets a newfy messed up. Once we all had our rations we headed over to Jessie's to get the drinking into gear. I made sure I picked up a bottle of Canada Dry in case I was in the mood for some tequila slammers but after a few I decided I was just gonna straight shot it, which would eventually just lead to me drinking from the bottle for the remainder of our time there.
Location: Fortress of Solitude (Jessie's house)
Time: 7 to 8:45?
Once inside Jessie's Fortress of Solitude Bryan and myself situated ourselves behind the bar and began to mix drinks, both known and some of our own creation. Since Rodney had driven the car home we were left four strong, but only for a short time as Brenna, Pam, Pannich, Lindsey, and Francine all arrived at different intervals. Pannich would inform us that a friend was having her b-day at the Druid so what was once a possibility became a destination for the night. With the participants all having arrived everyone began to prepare themselves for the night out. For the most part it mainly was drinking, but some people played pool, others watched tv and listened to music, I think Bryan tried out the anti-gravity device, but yeah it was pretty much just drinking.
Location: Druid (North)
Time: around 9
We arrive at the Druid somewhat early because we're aiming to be there for this girls birthday but when we get in we find that she herself hadn't even arrived yet. I took this bit of free time to go and visit Black Peter but strangely enough he was no where to be found. I think Pannich drove Burg, Francine, Lindsey, and myself, the others I'm not sure how they got down to Jasper. We were there early enough to grab a large table figuring we would need it to fit our mediocre sized group but once Brayn arrived we found out it would not be needed. Some where along the line Pam and Jessie managed to convice Brenna that we were all going to the Globe that night and that we were just stopping at the Druid for a bit. Not sure why they did that, Pam probably didn't want to be out with us and Jessie most likely went along for "Pronger-like" reasons. Whatever the reason we all figured that as per usual they would get drunk, whore it up on the dance floor together and deny it afterwards, I feel a bit differently this time considering their company. From what I gathered Brenna spent the majority of their time there avoiding people she did not want to see. I don't seem to remember much of what happened during our time at the Druid, though I'm sure nothing worth noting actually did happen. Except maybe a brief conversation with Susan, who I always seem to see at this bar.
Location: Leaving the Druid
Time: 1:30am?
When we all figured it was time to leave it seemed that we wouldn't have a driver as Pannich was still hanging out with his friend. So I did what I always do in a jam, call my sis. She agreed to pick us up as long as we weren't planning on cramming everyone into her car. Around this time Pannich came out of the bar and figured he could just fit all of us into his car. Knowing that we could all fit into his spacious back seat I tried repeatedly to get in contact with Katie but as she never answers her cell while driving my desparate attempt to cancel the ride never went through. During our wait for my sis to arrive a handful of us decided to buy a hotdog from the imported vendor outside of the Druid, if I recall correctly Bryan made some humerous and taunting remarks to Fran as he ate his. It was possibly the alcohol affecting my judgement but I must say that those hotdogs were mighty delicious, so much so that when a homeless man short on change tried to get one I offered up the $1.50 he was short so that he could enjoy the tastiness. About this time Katie was arriving so I raised the remainder of my dog to cheers the man without a home as he happily gormandized the hotdog I partially paid for, at this time Pannich also came very close to getting hit by a car speeding to make the light. With the drivers designated we all divvied up into the two cars, Pannich driving Bryan and Speilbergo while my sister took Lindsey, Francine, and myself.
On the way home we stopped at the Petro on 124, I think to fill up on gas, Fran and Lindsey went in to get coffee or something and they scored me some blue or purple gatorade. We then continued the trip home dropping Lindsey off at Jessie's where she had apparently left her car.
The night turned out to be a bit of a blur but from what I recall it was a good time had by all.
On a side note after walking to Denny's from the Globe with Pam and Brenna, Jessie threw up.
