Hungover on a Sunday afternoon

The culmanation of 3 days of heavy drinking have finally caught up with me. I'm probably going to end up spending the whole day vegging out and i'm going to try and recount the events of last night.

Saturday afternoon was spent trying to recover from a night of drunkeness and 4 hours sleep. The Oilers end up taking game 5 and are on their way to kicking Detroits ass. By about 7 i'm good to go and ring up Pat for the details of his birthday

Location: 60 Castle Keep

We slowly gather at pats to hit some beers before the Druid. The calgary game was on and we discuss the merits of the Mighty Ducks and how they are reportedly dropping the "Mighty" from their name next season. Were they ever Mighty? Pat is mixing some sort of drink in a generic plastic beer cup. He seems to down about half a dozen of these drinks before we leave. Mrs. Johnstone tells us to keep Pat under control tonight, i'm not too sure how well that is going to go. I'm drinking the beer of choice MGD and down a few of those and one of pat's mixes before we go. There are too many of us to cram in Jocelyns car so Jonah has to take his car.

Once we are downtown we swing by and pick up Jocelyn's cousin Michelle. While we are waiting i decide to take a piss and go by the Dentists place across the street. Pat decides to join me. Im busy pissing on thie cobblestone wall when i spot a man walking his dog comming towards us. I alert Pat but hes already done. I on the other hand had to stop the flow and button up my pants to prevent exposing myself.

There isn't a line but inside its pretty busy and we are the last of the bunch to get there. Right away i get myself a guiness and me and pat do some tequila slammers. At the table are the old navy girls and Katie. I'm introduced to an old navy girl i've never met before, Ashley. She has crazy hair but otherwise seemed like a cool girl. By now i'm feeling pretty drunk and Jessie looks like he is cut as well. On the other end of the table are some of Pam's brothers friends. I didn't know who was who, was never introduced, and made no effort to talk to them. Besides i didn't get a good vibe from them, little did i know some of them had a problem with Pat for some reason or another.

I saw Marco for a short time there, he was driving and i was very dissappointed he wasn't getting crazy tonight. After what happened last night i thought he would be good for round 2 with some other croatians. I guess he had prior engagements at Ezzies and some other place, and he left shortly after i got there with Matt. At some point i see an old aquaintance, Disco Stu. At one point he was dating Jocelyns sister for a while. We had some sort of drink later on in the night don't remember what it was but it wasn't very good. Jocelyn and Michelle left early since Michelle was leaving for Saskatoon on monday and had some stuff to to the next day before she left. It was around this time that Shanna and her friend showed up. Don't remember her name, but i do remember that last week she was throwing ice at some dude at the Globe, i think she was drunk. Anyways, Shanna is having a pub crawl next week and managed to get some of us to buy tickets i'm not sure who is really going at this point. Hopefully it will be as fun as Lauras was and you can read all about it here.

Most of the night was spent at the table chatting and drinking. The Druid isn't the kind of place where you can easily walk around. Ryan was absent most of the night, when i went to look for him i saw that he was busy with some girl. Later i would see them on the dance floor. I wonder what would become of that. Somewhere in the mix shawn harris showed up, don't know who he was with but he hung out with us for a bit. Nothing was really going on and i had about enough to drink and was feeling hungry. Pannich was leaving and i would be the only one leaving with him.

As usual we made our stop at wendys for some late night grub. No spicy ckicken for me tonight, instead i would get a chickenstrip combo and a chili. I was surprised at how early it was and stumbled in the door around 1:30.
