I get to school and wait for ross to meet me. I go to the library to waste some time and end up cracking a book i haven't opened in about 2 months. I only get a page in and he calls. I go and meet him in windsor parking lot and we drive to the nearby liquor depot. I want to get beer since that is what we are gonna be drinking in BEER gardens for the rest of the day. But ross wants to get some sort of har alcohol. We decide on JD but at the last minute we get southern comfort much to the chagrin of the guy working the till that says it tastes like nail polish remover. Ross and i had never had it. We ignore him and get it anyways, i remember that pannich used to drink this stuff so it couldn't be that bad. We were wrong. We drive to macs and get a slush to mix the booze in. We mix it in Windsor parking lot and drink it on some benches outside. The stuff tastes awful with a pepsi slush, but i don't think it was the mix, southern comfort is no comfort to drink at all. We polish it off in about 10 minutes and i'm already cut. I know at this point today will be a mess. I hope to run into the unnamed hot dark haired girl in my class sometime today.

Beer gardens is packed with people. However unlike years past, security kept the line moving and there was not much of a wait in line. Outside i run into Alex and Simon they are throwing around a football and both are as drunk as i am already. Inside Ross and i get a bunch of beer tickets, 4 bux for a kokanee in a plastic cup? For some reason the stuff tasted awesome, easy drinking and cold. We wander around for a bit and then run into Laurie, she needs some time to burn since she is volunteering at 3:30. The Business Students Association runs this thing so a bunch of bus students volunteer. We find a place to sit in the grass and catch some sun. I go pee in the porta pottie village they have setup in this horse shoe pattern, and get another beer and run into these two girls that know my name. I look at them puzzled and then they go " you know Brittney and Anya? Courney's friend" and then it clicks. "Hey, yeah i remember you girls". Ryan was "seeing" Courtney a while back and we hung out with some of her friends during that time. I talked to them for a while and two other friends join them Olivia and another one i never met before. I had previously given them my number but Anya put it in wrong so we exchanged correct numbers this time and i went back to Laurie and Ross. Amanda and Catherine join us on the grass for a bit then Catherine and Laurie go to volunteer. Ross goes to get more beer and i'm left there with Amanda, she strikes up a conversation with the people next to us and i realize she knows the dude, Olav. I had met him before once. It is at this point i spot a guy in mine and Amandas class. I'll call him indie hipster, since thats how he dresses. Amanda thinks he is so cute so i thought i'd go and force an introduction. Besides i was aware he was married so i thought it would be funny as well. So i approach indie hipster and introduce myself as a guy in your class, and then i proceed to tell him that the girl over there has a huge crush on you. By now Amanda catches wind and runs away all shy and shit. So i'm trying to point out to indie hipster who this crazy girl is, i'm not sure he could see who i was pointing out since she was trying to hide in the crowd but it was funny nonetheless. Amanda leaves a little pissed at me and i talk to Olav and a blond girl and a girl with blue rimmed glasses. i think one of their names was Emma, because i made some dumb joke about the show Friends and Ross and emma who is Ross and Rachels baby, since Ross came back and sat with us. From what i remember one of them is in Sciences doing genetics and the other i don't remember. When people are drunk they talk about dumb shit like how they lace up their shoes or what color their rooms are. Thats pretty much what we talked about, but not about the rooms or the shoes, other dumb things. After a while i was out of beer and went to get another once i came back and they were all gone, oh well i went to mingle with some other people. I ran into Jasmine a friend of Lisa's, i asked her if she had seen Lisa around and she said she was somewhere. I ran into her a few minutes later with some of her friends. I was kinda hungry at this point and went back to the pizza 73 trailer, i had gone there earlier in the day but they had run out of pizza and i would have had to wait for them to make another one so i left. This time they had run out again since the guy kinda burned the pizza. So me and the other guy behind me ask him if we can have the burned one, the guy says he was gonna throw it out anyways so he gave us the whole fucking pizza, it was completly edible and hardly burned. It wasn't cut so i ripped a huge piece and was on my way. I'm with Lisa and her friends eating my tasty pizza and i see Tom and Clarance, two guys in Business. They are with Duang and Chris two guys i kinda know from highschool. I introduce them to Lisa and we hang out for a while. Meanwhile Ross meets Pannich and ryan and Angelo at the powerplant and call me to come meet them. After a while i convince Lisa and her friend to come to the plant. On the way out of beer gardens i'm introduced to Eric and his friend, i don't remember her name. I've previously conversed with Eric about jeans but never really met the two of them even though they are in business and i see them almost everyday.

The powerplant is less busy then i expected condidering the last day of school and all. I get a pint of honey brown, i just asked the barkeep what i could get for 5 bux. I'm not sure how long we are there, but long enough for Ryan and Pannich to get some food. I think Lisa and her friend leave around this time. Laurie, Catherine and Amanda meet us at the plant. I'm not sure how they knew we were there, i think at some point they must have called, most of the details of the day are blurred.

Time: little after 5 i think

For some reason we decide to go to SUB, not sure why but on the way past beer gardens i go back in to quickly drink away my last ticket. Instead i ended up staying and didn't go to SUB at all. I hung out with Alex and his brother and his buddies. We talked to some cute girl with wavy blonde hair. I can't remember about what, i was fixated on the one dimple she had on her left cheek. I see my brothers friend Lori, i ask her what she is doing there and how she got in, she isn't a student there. I guess she used her friend Amanda's (the brogley) one card, they look nothing alike. Not sure why i made note of this, it was just totally weird to see her there. By then Ross, Amanda, Laurie and Catherine had come back to beer gardens and Pannich and Ryan and left. I felt bad that they didn't have as much fun as they should have, Ryan isn't a student and thus couldn't get into beer gardens. Around this time Robin just finished her volunteering and came to talk to us for a bit. She is in mine and Ross' business law class. We both think she is attractive but we're too scared to do anything about it. She ends up leaving and i spot Shelly a cute brown girl in two of my finance classes. I drunkenly dance with her for like 5 minutes then go get another beer. The rest of my time at beer gardens consisted of lounging on the grass and running around wildly with amanda's vest that was two sizes too small for me. By this point a lot of people have already left and there are at most 100 people in beer gardens. With the sun setting and me on the brown grass with my head proped up with Laurie's bag i watched pissed drunk U of A students dance to a muddle of techno beats and top 40 hits.

Security kicked everyone out at 7, the five of us ross, laurie, amanda, and catherine spend the next half an hour in the quad watching some people throw a frisbee around. One guy says someone stole his sandals and he was walking around barfoot. He kept saying to us and himself, "who would want to steal a pair of size 13 sandals"

We walked to the Business building and sat on the floor outside Winspear library. The librarian took offence to our loud behaviour and came out and told us to quiet down or he would call security. At the time i thought his request was absurd and made a loud snide remark when he went back inside. Laurie, Amanda, and Catherine go into an empty room and work on a project. I really couldn't comprehend working on a project now, let alone watching people work on one so Ross and i wandered into HUB. Some people walking by in HUB recognized me for whatever reason, must have been something i've done earlier in the day. The alcohol was still affecting me and would until early in the morning, but for now i was hungry again and we found our way to the nearby Wendys for some spicy ckicken combo. Tom and some other people were supposed to be at the Bank downtown that night, i had wanted to go but no one else wanted to go and in the state i was in i needed some supervision. We went back to business and shortly after i catch a ride home with Amanda. I get home at about 10. Exhausted after a hard day of drinking i pass out. I never did run into the unnamed dark haired girl from my class.
